A LITTLE KNOW-HOW GOES A LONG WAY
A few things to think about before your China adventure.
Start with Xi’an’s Terracotta Warriors and Beijing’s Forbidden City and Great Wall for history. Choose Zhangjiajie for dramatic mountains, or Guilin and Yangshuo for river scenery and a gentler pace. Add Shanghai, Guangzhou or Chongqing for illuminated skylines and lively evenings. We can discuss combining these stops into a longer trip.
Our city-night stays are 3-day sample routes; the heritage and landscape stays are 4 or 5 days. Combining several stops takes extra time for travel between them. Allow additional time for your flights from the United States, the time difference and the pace you enjoy.
Absolutely. These routes are inspiration, not fixed departures. Tell us your interests, travel dates, preferred pace and who’s coming along in the trip request below.
No. Sending a trip request is free and does not reserve travel or commit you to a payment. Availability, the operator, services, prices and booking terms must be agreed separately before you book.
